Warning: Data may be inaccurate

Updated today

Missing Data

If you get the warning, that your data may be inaccurate for e.g. the Waterfall or other analytics features in Weflow, then please consider the following underlying issues:

The most common reason for the warning is that you use custom fields for the currency value, but haven't activated field history for it.

To import historical data from your Opportunities, Weflow attempts to access various sources such as:

  • Opportunity Field History

  • Opportunity History

Opportunity Field History

If you use custom fields, you need to enable field history in order to create historic data entries in your core Salesforce Database. Only if history tracking has been enabled, Weflow can paint a historically correct picture of your Opportunity activities.

Opportunity History

This is a standard Salesforce Object that stores values for key fields such as Amount, Stage, Close Date. If you only use standard fields on your Opportunity, then this will work automatically with Weflow.

Can this be fixed?

Unfortunately, Weflow cannot create historical snapshots for you unless you had field history tracking active for your custom fields. If you never had field history tracking active, there is nothing we can do unless you switch to a standard currency field i.e. the "Amount" field.

Will this work after I start using Weflow?

Yes, once you start using Weflow, our forecasting & analytics solution will automatically create snapshots of all your key opportunity fields. However, this means that you will need to wait 2-4 weeks until you can run meaningful analyses of your pipeline movements.
