Overview
In the Weflow Admin Console under Chrome Extension, you can update your organization’s Chrome Extension settings.
Weflow's Chrome Extension provides several useful features to make your work easier and give you more control over email, meeting, and CRM syncing.
For all settings listed below, you can decide whether to lock them (so users cannot change the setting themselves) or leave them unlocked (allowing users to adjust their own preferences).
At the top of the page, you can:
Share the Weflow Chrome Extension with your users, or
Click to learn more about managing extensions via the Google Workspace Admin Console.
This allows you to push the Chrome Extension to all user profiles — provided they are using managed Chrome work profiles.
New tab experience
If you toggle the New tab experience on, Weflow adds functionality to your browser’s new tab page.
Whenever a new tab is opened, users will see additional information and quick actions related to Weflow.
For more details on what’s included, see our article on the New Tab Experience.
Log to Salesforce button in Gmail
This setting controls whether the “Log to Salesforce” button appears in Gmail.
When enabled, users can decide which emails to log to Salesforce and which to exclude. This is independent of the organization’s default email logging behavior (automatic or manual) and gives users more granular control over what gets synced.
Show sidebar shortcuts in Gmail
Displays quick Weflow shortcuts in Gmail’s sidebar, giving users easier access to core features directly within Gmail.
Google Calendar
If enabled, users can create notes from Google Calendar events and save them automatically to Salesforce. This helps link meeting notes to related CRM records without leaving the calendar view.
In your Salesforce, you will be able to see the note under the Event Activity section.
LinkedIn Integration
Activate Weflow Search on LinkedIn:
Enables users to create or update Salesforce records directly from LinkedIn using the Chrome Extension. Here's a dedicated support article and walk-through video of this functionality.
In short:
Press CMD + J (Mac) or ALT + J (Windows) to launch the Weflow Search panel.
From there, users can:
Check if a contact or lead already exists in Salesforce.
Create a new Contact or Lead record directly from the LinkedIn page.
Fill out key Salesforce fields and save — the record is instantly created in Salesforce.
Add additional details directly through the extension sidebar.
This helps users capture new relationships without switching tabs.
Salesforce Integration
Display quick action buttons in Salesforce record pages:
When activated, this option adds Weflow quick actions to Salesforce record pages, allowing users to perform key Weflow functions directly inside Salesforce.
