Commenting on Weflow Recordings

Weflow enables time-based and transcript-linked comments on recordings so teams can share insights, tag colleagues, and review calls efficiently.

Updated over a week ago

Weflow’s commenting feature allows teams to collaborate directly inside meeting recordings and transcripts. Users can leave time-based comments, highlight transcript text, tag colleagues, and build structured feedback or coaching notes, all within Conversation Intelligence.

Comments help teams capture insights, callouts, coaching moments, and follow-up actions exactly where they occur in the conversation.

Key Benefits

  • Add comments tied to specific timestamps or transcript sections.

  • Tag colleagues to share insights or ask questions.

  • Quickly jump to relevant moments without watching the entire recording.

  • All comments appear in a unified comment feed for easy review.

  • Managers can provide precise, actionable feedback.

Where is the Comments Tab Located?

To access comments, you must first open a recording.

Once a recording is open, the Comments tab appears on the right-hand side of the screen, next to the video timeline. This is where all comments, whether created from the video timeline or the transcript are displayed in a single, unified feed.

How It Works

1. Comment on the Video Timeline

While watching a recording, you can pause at any moment and leave a comment.
The comment is automatically linked to that timestamp, making it easy for others to view the relevant video moment.

2. Comment in the Transcript View

Inside the Transcript tab, you can highlight any part of the transcript text.
Once highlighted, a comment box appears, allowing you to leave feedback directly tied to the spoken words. This comment instantly appears in the shared comment feed.

You can also click on any highlighted text to jump directly to the associated comment.

3. Tagging Colleagues

Use @ to tag teammates who also have access to Weflow.
Tagged colleagues receive an email notification and can jump directly into the moment you referenced.

Important:
Colleagues must have access rights to view your recordings in order to see comments.

4. Central Comment Feed

All comments—whether created from the timeline or transcript—appear in a single unified feed.
This provides a clean, chronological view of every note left on the recording.

You can also reply to existing comments to create threaded discussions and use emojis to react or acknowledge feedback, making collaboration more interactive and engaging.

Summary

  • Commenting on Weflow recordings is a powerful and intuitive way to collaborate on customer conversations.

  • Whether highlighting a key moment in the transcript or leaving timestamped feedback on the video, comments help teams share insights, refine messaging, and improve coaching efficiency.

  • This feature enhances cross-team alignment and turns every recorded call into a collaborative workspace—helping sales, CS, and leadership teams learn, improve, and act faster.
