AI Playbook

The AI Playbook helps you track whether a sales methodology, or any custom method you want to monitor, is being followed on your deals. It works automatically in the background and surfaces results directly in your pipeline view and in the record sidebar.

What it does

When you open a pipeline view or a record in Weflow, the AI Playbook shows you whether the relevant methodology elements have been addressed for that record. Weflow scans emails, meeting transcripts, related records, and CRM fields to determine adherence, so there's no manual tracking required.

Setting up a playbook

You can use one of Weflow's pre-built methodology templates, or create your own from scratch.

To create a new playbook:

  1. Give the playbook a name.

  2. Select an object type (e.g. Opportunity). Custom objects are supported too.

  3. Assign the playbook to a team.

  4. Add elements. An element can be a component of a known methodology (e.g. "Metrics" in MEDDIC) or any custom aspect you want to track.

  5. For each element, add a description and evaluation criteria, essentially defining what a good outcome looks like.

Once set up, Weflow automatically evaluates each element against your CRM data and conversation sources.

Using the playbook on a record

On the pipeline view, each opportunity shows how well it aligns with the assigned methodology. For example, an element like "Pain" might be clearly identified, while others like "Impact," "Situation," "Critical Events," or "Decision Criteria" may still need work.

You have two ways to improve the score:

  • Type your own input. The AI evaluates what you enter and suggests improvements if needed.

  • Edit the AI-generated input. Some fields are filled in automatically by the AI based on emails, meetings, and other conversations. You can override this content directly.

Re-triggering evaluation

You can re-run the AI evaluation at any time, either for the entire playbook or for individual elements.
