Understanding the pipeline of your reps or yourself (whether you are an Account Executive or a manager) is key to being successful in sales. Everything starts and ends with a well oiled pipeline-machine.
That's why it's super important to make sure you understand how to filter your pipeline for the most important fields of your sales process. In this example, we'll show you how to create a pipeline view that focusses on missing next steps.
We'll focus on missing next steps here, but with Weflow you can do this for any kind of field or sales methodology.

Step-by-Step guide
1. Create a new pipeline view
- Go to the Pipeline section and click to create a new pipeline view
- Select the record type (i.e. Opportunity, Lead, Contact, Account, Custom Object)
- Select "Table" as pipeline type
2. Add the fields you are looking for
- Next, make sure to add the fields which are relevant to you
- In this example we added Name, Account, Stage, Next Steps, Amount, Close Date and Owner
Pro tip: Use the "Group by" feature to group your pipeline view into sections e.g. by Owner or by Stage.
3. Apply custom filters
- Click on "Custom filters" in the top to add your own set of custom filters
- In this case, we select the following:
That's it! You now have a pipeline view which shows you all Opportunities with missing next steps.
