Troubleshooting the Weflow Chrome Extension & Outlook Add-in

Sometimes, certain browser or add-in settings can cause the Weflow extension or Outlook add-in to behave unexpectedly. Below you’ll find a few common causes and simple ways to fix them.

Updated this week

Chrome Extension Issues

In some cases, other Chrome extensions can interfere with how Weflow works — especially those that also interact with email sending, syncing, or your calendar.

Common symptoms:

  • The “Do not log to Salesforce” button doesn’t appear or doesn’t respond.

  • The Weflow Notes panel in your calendar event doesn’t load or can’t be opened.

How to fix:

  1. Disable other Chrome extensions temporarily — particularly those related to email, CRM, or productivity (like Grammarly, HubSpot, or Boomerang).

  2. Refresh your browser and try again.

  3. Re-enable extensions one by one to see which one might be causing the conflict.

  4. Ensure you’re using the latest Weflow Chrome extension version (you can check in chrome://extensions/).

💡 Tip: Running Weflow in a clean Chrome profile (with no other extensions) can help confirm if another tool is interfering.

Outlook Add-in Behavior

If you’re using the Weflow Outlook add-in and notice similar issues — such as the note-taking feature not loading or buttons not responding — the cause is often similar.

Try these steps:

  1. Restart Outlook and ensure the add-in is enabled under File → Manage Add-ins.

  2. Check for other active add-ins that interact with your calendar or Salesforce — these may occasionally block Weflow actions.

  3. Update Outlook to the latest version.

  4. If the issue persists, sign out and back into Weflow from the add-in.
