Permission Settings

Important: You only need permission settings if you want to restrict editing access in Weflow for either all fields or only some specific fields.

When do you need this?

  • By default, Weflow does not let users edit any fields that they cannot also already edit in Salesforce

  • Weflow automatically respects permissions, access rules, sharing settings, validation rules and field dependencies. This includes the ability to view or edit fields.

  • You do not need this feature if you want Weflow to function like Salesforce.

  • Activating these settings is only needed, if you want to limit editing rights in Weflow compared to how they already work in Salesforce e.g. because you have specific screen flows or page layouts.

Enable Read-Only Mode

  • Enabling Read-Only Mode will block all users from editing any fields in Weflow

Only allow specific editable fields

  • With this setting, you can pick and choose the fields that users should be able to edit.

  • All non-selected fields will be uneditable automatically.
