Conversational Intelligence (Beta)

This document briefly describes how Weflow functions, focusing on conversational intelligence in particular.

 

Enabling / disabling conversational intelligence

  • To enable or disable conversational intelligence please contact our support team at support@getweflow.com.
  • The support team is available from Monday - Sunday, between 08:00 AM -  08:00 PM CET.

 

Requirements & how it works

  • To enable conversational intelligence for your account, the activity capture setup with access to your calendar events needs to be completed first.
  • There is no need to authenticate Weflow with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet specifically.
  • Weflow will pull the relevant meeting information from your calendar, and schedule a recording bot to join the respective meeting.
  • It may be required to admit the recording bot to the meeting manually (depending on your organizational security settings).
  • It may be required to approve the recording of a meeting at least once - this is specifically true for Zoom.

Activity Capture and Conversational Intelligence

  • Weflow’s activity capture solution works via a centralized configuration that connects to Microsoft and/or Google Workspace via server-to-server communication.
  • Weflow then creates a subscription for email/meeting webhook events and logs sales-relevant activities from Google/Microsoft to Salesforce.
  • Weflow then uses these calendar events to understand which meetings are relevant for a possible meeting recording.
  • Users can manually select meetings and/or let Weflow choose meetings for them.
  • The underlying logic is that the meeting should be recorded as long as the meeting is with an existing contact and/or lead in Salesforce and has at least one external participant.

Future Development

  • In the coming months, Weflow will add AI-powered meeting summaries based on the meeting transcripts.
  • In early 2025, Weflow will add the ability to auto-update CRM fields based on the recordings.

 

Underlying Technology

  • For activity capture to work, admins need to update the Managed Weflow Package to the latest version (see here).
  • For access to meeting links, Weflow uses its proprietary technology (activity capture) to schedule recording agents.
  • Meetings are logged into Salesforce via their REST API.
  • Meetings are stored as custom objects in Salesforce (Weflow_Recording__c).
