Entra ID application Permissions for Microsoft 365

For customers in the Microsoft ecosystem, Weflow asks for email/calendar permissions via a centrally managed Entra application. This application serves as a central permission provider for users in your Weflow account.

To install the Entra ID application, an Cloud Application Administrator is required.

Permissions required to install the Entra ID app:

  • Calendards.Read
  • Calendars.Read.Shared
  • Calendars.ReadWrite
  • Calendars.ReadWrite.Shared
  • EAS.AccessAsUser.All
  • EWS.AccessAsUser.All
  • Mail.Read
  • Mail.Read.Shared
  • Mail.ReadWrite
  • Mail.ReadWrite.Shared
  • offline_access
  • openid
  • profile
  • User.Read

Admin roles who can install the app:

To install a Microsoft Entra ID app (formerly Azure AD), these are the key admin roles required:

  • Global Administrator - Has full access to manage all aspects of Entra ID and can install any application
  • Application Administrator - Can manage enterprise applications and has permissions to configure app registrations
  • Cloud Application Administrator - Similar to Application Administrator but with slightly fewer permissions, can manage most app-related settings
