How are meetings logged and synced to Salesforce?

Once Weflow has been connected to your calendar, Weflow will do the following:

1. Sync meetings 3 months into the future

  • Weflow will scan your linked calendar for meetings with external participants.
  • All meetings with external participants that are scheduled within the next three months after connecting to Weflow will be synced to Salesforce.
  • Weflow will attribute all meetings (where possible) to a contact, account and opportunity.
  • If no matching contact can be identified, then Weflow will still log that meeting to Salesforce but without attributing it to a specific record.

2. Sync newly created meetings

  • After connecting your calendar to Weflow, all newly created meetings with external participants will automatically be logged into Salesforce.
  • This includes meetings where you are the organizer as well as meetings where you're only a participant.
  • It does not matter from where the meeting is created e.g. via a third-party tool or directly in the application of your calendar provider (e.g. Google or Microsoft).
  • Weflow will attribute all meetings (where possible) to a contact, account and opportunity.
  • If no matching contact can be identified, then Weflow will still log that meeting to Salesforce but without attributing it to a specific record.
